Brand and bilingual website for the Cybair cybersecurity division

For Cybair, our cybersecurity division, we designed a visual identity, a design system and a bilingual website. The site explains penetration testing and the scopes of engagement, and publishes expert articles on NIS2, DORA and security practice to an editorial schedule.

01 · Context

A cybersecurity division and its offer for management and IT

Cybair is the INTERFASE division dedicated solely to cybersecurity. It manually tests web and mobile applications, internal systems, cloud and networks, fixes the vulnerabilities it finds right in the environment and verifies the fixes with a retest.

The website had to explain that offer to management and to IT teams alike: what gets tested, how testing runs, what comes out of it and which scope to choose. It also had to host expert writing on the regulations companies deal with today — the NIS2 directive and the DORA regulation. In 2026 it got a new brand, a design system, localised URLs, a news section and a contact page.

02 · Challenges

An expert topic for two audiences in two languages

A security division's website is read by company management and by network administrators. The content has to be clear for the first and accurate for the second.

Expert and clear

Penetration tests, vulnerability scans and NIS2 are abstract terms for part of the audience. The site has to explain them plainly, including how testing runs, what it delivers and how it affects operations.

Three scopes in one comparison

The Shield, Fortress and Enterprise packages differ in phases and scope. The difference has to be clear at a glance, and every package has to lead straight to an enquiry.

An identity made of dots

The brand rests on an infinity-like mark and the dotted typeface Doto. The same visual language has to carry the intro animation, the hero and the footer without slowing the page down.

Regularly published content

Slovak and English versions with their own URLs, plus articles on an editorial schedule, have to stay consistent for people, search engines and AI assistants.

03 · Principle

Cybair's website follows the same security and editorial standards the division recommends to its clients.

01

Facts with a source

Articles may not contain invented figures or claims about the division's history. Every deadline and fine has a primary source — EUR-Lex, Slov-Lex, NBÚ, OWASP or NIST.

02

Measured contrast

Every colour derives from two brand inputs, and the contrast of every text-and-background pair is measured and documented.

03

Own practice

The site sends the HTTP security headers Cybair writes about, and starts analytics only after the visitor consents.

04 · Brand

Intro animation the Cybair mark from a dot matrix

On arrival, the Cybair mark draws itself from dots in under a second and a half, and the hero opens out of it. The 44-column dot matrix is generated straight from the master logo, so the animation, the hero and the footer's large dotted CYBAIR wordmark share one visual language.

  • A hero with a smooth video loop of the dotted mark
  • A still image under reduced motion or data saving
  • Doto in headings and the logotype, Geist for text

05 · Design system

Colour system derived from two brand colours

The system rests on two inputs — ink #0A0A0A and paper #FAF5FF. The neutral ramp is tinted toward paper's hue and the violet accent sits in the same colour family. All elements of the site use only semantic colours, so any section can switch from the default dark theme to light.

The internal brand page takes its values straight from the system, so it always matches the website.

  • Three token tiers: primitive, semantic and component
  • Measured contrast for every pair in dark and light themes
  • Logo, type, space, motion and components in one place

06 · Offer

Engagement process and three packages Shield, Fortress and Enterprise

The homepage first shows the Assessment – Testing – Remediation process and, right below it, the Shield, Fortress and Enterprise packages. Each package card shows which of the three phases it covers, its scope and what it adds to the one before.

  • The recommended Fortress package highlighted in the comparison
  • Every package opens the contact form with that package preselected
  • A spam-protected form, enquiries delivered by email

07 · News

Expert articles on penetration testing, NIS2 and practice

Articles fall into three clusters — penetration testing, NIS2 and regulation, practice — and two pillar articles — on penetration testing and on NIS2 in Slovakia — link up every article in their cluster. The writing rules are fixed: every heading is a question or a clear claim, and the first paragraph beneath it answers it even when read on its own.

  • FAQs at the end covering what the text didn't
  • A list of primary sources — law, directive, standard
  • An English version written as natural text, not a literal translation

08 · Publishing

Scheduled article publishing without developer involvement

Articles come out on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:00. At the scheduled time a new article appears everywhere on the site at once.

  1. 01

    Scheduling

An article gets a publication date and time.

  2. 02

    8:00

The site starts showing it — until then it isn't there.

  3. 03

    Listing and links

It appears in News, and links to it from other articles switch on by themselves.

  4. 04

    Search and AI

The article is immediately in the sitemap, the RSS feed and the site description for AI assistants.

Slovak and English versions with translated URLs

Slovak is the default, English is complete. URLs are translated — /sk/novinky/nis2-slovensko has the English counterpart /en/news/nis2-slovakia — and the pages reference each other so search engines show the right language version.

  • The language switcher leads to the same page in the other language
  • A separate RSS feed for each language
  • A sitemap with both Slovak and English URLs

11 · Discoverability

Structured content for search engines and AI assistants

The FAQs, the engagement process, the division's description and every article are marked up with structured data that search engines understand. The text in it matches the text on the page.

For AI assistants the site publishes a short and a complete description of the offer and the articles, and explicitly allows them access.

12 · Site security

HTTP security headers set on the division's own site

One of the articles explains which HTTP headers a website should set and with what values. Cybair's site sends them itself — from Content-Security-Policy to HSTS with preload — and publishes a security.txt with a security contact at the standard address.

  • Content-Security-Policy, X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options
  • Referrer-Policy, Permissions-Policy, Cross-Origin-Opener-Policy
  • Analytics only after the visitor consents, off by default
