Campaign website and community platform for Cementáreň Lietavská Lúčka
For Cementáreň Lietavská Lúčka we designed and built Reštartujeme, a campaign site about the plant's modernisation, and Medzi nami susedmi, a community platform with pillars, news and a form for residents' suggestions.

Slovakia's second-oldest cement maker and the plant's modernisation
The joint-stock company Žilinská cementáreň was founded in 1898, and cement production in Lietavská Lúčka began in 1902. Since December 2024 its majority shareholder has been ZEOCEM s.r.o., and the plant is part of ZEOCEM Group.
The new owner brings a modernisation meant to deliver a cleaner and quieter neighbourhood. The plant wanted to talk about it directly with the people living right next to it — explain what is changing, and give them a place to find news and speak up.
Until now, news about the plant travelled from neighbour to neighbour. The websites are meant to be its direct source.
The plant's communication with neighbours on dust, noise and change
On dust and noise, any overstatement would damage the plant's credibility. So from the start we worked out what the sites would say, and how.
Campaign and community kept separate
A modernisation campaign needs a strong story on a single page; a community needs a place that keeps growing. We split them into two sites that lead into each other.
Visualising the future site
The plant's new look exists only in visualisations so far. Visitors need to picture it without mistaking it for the finished thing.
Accurate status labels
Dust and noise monitoring and the community platform's pillars are still in preparation. The sites have to say so plainly.
A simple suggestion form
Residents need to send a question or a complaint without needless hurdles — without the form drowning in spam.
Two linked websites campaign and community platform
Reštartujeme is a one-page site that walks visitors through the change in six chapters. The last one sends them on to Medzi nami susedmi — a platform that will keep growing.

Turning the page

- 02

Material under a roof and a new generation of filters.
- 03

A scroll-driven tour of the future site.
- 04
Our story
A film about the people who work and live here.

Medzi nami susedmi
Pillars, news and a place for suggestions.
Campaign opening reasons for modernisation and a timeline
Reštartujeme opens with a sentence about the plant's relationship with the village: "We are part of this village. And we want to be good neighbours." The plant admits its production needs modernising and takes responsibility for both the plant and the neighbourhood.
A timeline below sums up the change in three steps, which the rest of the site builds on.
- Decision — responsibility for the plant's and the neighbourhood's future
- Modernisation — covered stockpiles, noise insulation and new filters
- Openness — dust and noise monitoring prepared with the municipality

Dust and noise measures roofs, cladding and filters
The Concrete steps section explains two measures in language anyone understands. Operations and material stockpiles get a roof and cladding, and enclosed operations get fabric filters that capture fine dust particles.
Each measure has its own image with a caption saying what it shows — including that it is a visualisation.

Tour of the future site driven by scrolling
The New look section pins in place as you scroll, and instead of the page the image moves: the view of the future site gradually closes in and changes angle, with the village and valley around it.
The caption "AI visualisation of the plant's future look" stays in the frame the whole time, so nobody mistakes a plan for a finished building.
- A pinned section whose motion follows the scroll
- The AI-visualisation label right in the image
- A link to the film about the plant's story

From the campaign to the community platform
Reštartujeme is a campaign with a clear ending. Its last section, We're here for you, introduces the Medzi nami susedmi platform and sends visitors there with a single button.
Both sites share the CLL logo, a blue and cream palette and bold condensed headlines, so the two read as one visual system.

The sites state only what is actually happening, and label everything that isn't finished yet as in preparation.
"In preparation" status
Dust and noise monitoring and all four pillars carry the status "In preparation". The sites promise no more than the plant can deliver.
Readings only after an agreed method
Until it's agreed where and how measurements will be taken, the sites show no readings. Instead they explain what the plant and the municipality are agreeing on.
Labelled visualisations
Images of the future site are AI visualisations and say so — in the tour, next to the measures and under the articles.
Four pillars of the community platform air, community, greenery and neighbourhood
The community platform rests on four pillars: Open Neighbour (air and noise), For a Better Life in the Village (community life), Green Garden (greenery in the village) and Neighbourly Concrete (benefit from being neighbours).
All four are currently "In preparation". The plant will report on next steps right on the platform.

Pillar pages and the mobile version
A pillar page says what it's about, what it will focus on and what state it's in. For Open Neighbour that means a measuring station planned right in the village, information without complicated tables, and an open dialogue with neighbours.
Both sites are fully adapted to mobile — from navigation to the form.

Modernisation updates five opening articles
In the news section the plant explains each step of the modernisation — from covering the material to fabric filters and monitoring.
The article on monitoring says openly that there are no numbers yet, and why: until the method and the placement of measuring points are agreed, they would be misleading.
- Five opening articles on the modernisation and the platform
- A note that images of the future site are visualisations
- Questions about the articles go to the suggestion form

Suggestion form with spam protection and no captcha
The Got a suggestion for us? form sits on the home page and the pillar pages. It asks for first name, surname, email, phone and the suggestion itself — nothing more.
It is protected from spam by a hidden field only a bot fills in and a simple sum such as "What is 9 + 3?" instead of an image captcha. The plant intends to publish recurring questions together with answers.

Campaign website and community platform with a shared visual identity
Cementáreň Lietavská Lúčka has Reštartujeme, a campaign site explaining the plant's modernisation, and Medzi nami susedmi, a community platform with pillars, news and a place for residents' suggestions. We designed and built both with a shared visual identity.
The pillars and the dust and noise monitoring are still in preparation — and the sites label them that way.
